Since Royal Roads was established in 1995, we’ve taken a purposefully different approach. Did you know that Royal Roads University is commonly used in movies and TV shows? You may recognize our campus (and castle) from some of the X-Men films, Deadpool 2 and The Descendants!

RRU is also a tourist destination! Hatley Castle was built in 1908 and is a common attraction for visitors from around the world as well as our extensive gardens and trails.
